Is Gold.
Your Father’s Sportcoat
We go to work
And play Office
We come home
And play house
There’s photos
And clocks on the walls
Time telling you
To stand still
And the photos
Telling you to look at yourself
Things
For Monday, January 23rd.
“They Want My Soul”
13″ x 13″ comprised of 5 pieces.
Future is better.
But no one could predict this.
Lucid American Dream
Keep the dream from ending.
“The Painter”
Another large scale piece. 19″ height x 25″ width. Composed of 15 pieces.
Don’t Stop
Don’t stop. I tell myself this all of the time. Self doubt can try to stop you. But don’t let it. I tell myself to not be that person that looks at an old photograph that I shot and say to myself “I sure miss taking pictures” “I sure miss the medium of film”. Just keep shooting! Basically, though, it’s just a bigger metaphor for the overall creative process. Don’t stop.
Things become other things
These are pieces I created last year that ultimately became other pieces. I was never satisfied with them in their early forms.
“Girls Can Too”
This is, for now, my biggest piece measuring 19 inches in width by 25 inches in height. It is comprised of 19 pieces.
